The 10th annual Jameson Dublin International Film Festival kicked off on 16th February and runs until the 26th February. A host of actors and filmmakers will decend on Dublin to promote their film projects, with over 120 films being showcased across five cinemas in the city centre.
Screen legends making an appearance this year will include Al Pacino and Glenn Close, to name just a few. Mercury Drive will also be there at the red carpet!
This prestigious festival is the largest film event in Ireland and for some films will provide the only Irish screening, so is an opportunity not to be missed.

Irish fans and players alike celebrated the 5-1 aggregate win over Estonia which sees the
boys in green heading to Poland and Ukraine for the UEFA Euro 2012 next summer.
The teams set to contest the competition are:
Poland (co-hosts)
Ukraine (co-hosts)
Spain (holders)
Croatia
Czech Republic
Denmark
England
France
Germany
Greece
Italy
Netherland
Portugal
Republic of Ireland
Russia
Sweden
The draw for the finals will be made on 2nd December.
The win means more than €8 million in prize money for Irish football and a welcome
boost to the spirits of the whole country. The loyal green army of fans will find it harder to
find the cash to follow their sporting heroes over to Poland and The Ukraine however, with banks
and credit unions less willing to part with loans these days. To join the team next summer the fans need
the skills of Shay Givern for their own ’BIG SAVE’!
